Research on Communication Networks among Workshop NC Equipment Based on Networked Manufacturing

Based on the analysis of the requirements and technology driving forces of the networked manufacturing, the basic features and connotation of networked manufacturing (NM) based on workshop numerical control (NC) equipment are discussed. The structure and mode of a networked manufacturing system among workshop NC equipment are presented. Aiming at the status of present numerical control (NC) or computer numerical control (CNC) equipment of the manufacturing industry, several typical DNC communication schemes for workshops are proposed. Finally, we take the prototype system as an example to illustrate the operation process of NM based on workshop equipment.
