Abstract
The multiple access interference (MAI) analysis for CDMA-based Ad Hoc networks is analyzed in this paper and the relationship between SINR and distributed node density, normalized code mutual-interference is given under the Poisson distribution model. Theoretically, the result shows that it is necessary for CDMA-based Ad Hoc networks to detect multiple access interference (MAI) on the physical layer, avoid collisions on the MAC layer and select the code set with less normalized mutual-interference. The impact of MAI on the link error probability is evaluated and the bit error probability as a function of distributed node density and normalized code mutual-interference is presented.
