Abstract :
The design rules of RFID tag antenna are presented at first. Both operating principle and attribute of bowtie are briefly introduced secondly. Then, two bowtie tag antennas operated at 915MHz band are analyzed and designed. Simulation results show that both dimension and S11 of the two proposed bowtie tag antennas are smaller than those of the current tag antennas reported, the bandwidth of the two proposed bowtie tag antennas is about twice that of the half-wave dipole at 915MHz band, and the performance of the fan bowtie antenna is better than that of the general triangle bowtie antenna. The experimental results are also in good consistency with the simulation results.
