Abstract :
This paper proposed a novel blind frequency offset estimation algorithm of timing offset for polynomial cancellation coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (PCC-OFDM) systems with symbol overlapped. Compared with general frequency offset estimation, this estimation is carried out in the time domain and an optimal frequency offset variable is achieved by reconstructing a pair of linear demodulated components at the discrete fourier transform (DFT) output. The numeric results show that the estimate is a linear function of frequency offset and has better bandwidth efficiency.
