Abstract :
A hardware-efficient combined iterative cyclic prefix restoration (CPR) method is presented for wireless local area network (WLAN) using orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM). Based on the analysis of both time-domain and transform-domain CPR methods, we propose the combination of them. Utilizing the hardware in the standard receiver, the new scheme performs the first iteration in a style similar to the transform-domain method for low implementation cost. Then, conducting further iterations with time-domain CPR method offers low iteration complexity. Simulations validate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
