Abstract :
In this paper, we present a novel hybrid parallel code acquisition scheme for inner-sequence of multiplex system. For decreasing the probability of false alarm in acquisition process and keeping the track of the incoming sequence after returning from the false alarm state, we propose two different local code registers in each Acquisition Module, and make the two modules can interconnect each other while they are performing correlation of the incoming sequence and local sequence. In our performance analysis, we have derived the probability of detection and false alarm under an AWGN channel. Simultaneously the expected mean acquisition time are given by using flow-graph technique. Our performance analysis shows that the mean acquisition time is 4.6 ms at −20 dB chip-to-noise ratio, much faster than the typical rapid acquisition scheme.
