Abstract :
CDMA systems based on orthogonal Complementary Code (CC) spreading can achieve interference-free performance and high system capacity, which are attractive for future communications. In this paper, CC-CDMA systems with Offset-Stack spreading and high order modulation are analyzed. Bit error rate (BER) expression is derived and the system capacity is presented. The BER performances of CC-CDMA systems are compared with those of DS-CDMA systems under the fair conditions of achieving same capacity with equal wireless resource. Both numerical and simulation results reveal that the performance of CC-CDMA is much better, especially at high Eb/N0.
