Abstract
In this paper, we proposed a distributed algorithm for obtaining the optimal fair bandwidth allocation based on local algorithms and measurements. The approach we use is draw from Davidon-Fletcher-Powell variable metric method (so called quasi-Newton method) in optimization theory, and the simulation result show that the algorithm converge faster than other algorithm used before.
