  • Abstract
    In this paper, we propose a watermark detection scheme to prove whether an image is watermarked, which is based on zero knowledge protocol and public-key encryption scheme. This scheme can be applied to enhance the security in E-commerce. According to the scheme, the owner of an image can prove the customer the existence of a watermark in the image without revealing any confidential information about the original image and the embedded watermark. We will embed the watermark in DWT coefficients which are assumed to follow zero mean generalized Gaussian distribution statistically model. This paper is organized as follows. First, we discuss the statistical model of the DWT coefficients of an image and obtain the testing statistic equation from log-maximum-likelihood function for watermark detection. Second, the zero-knowledge based proving process is shown in more detailed description. Finally, there is a brief analysis and a conclusion at the end of the paper.
