Abstract :
In this paper we present an architecture named Component-Based Mobile Protocol Framework (CBMPF). In this architecture, all wireless protocols are divided into components by different policies. CBMPF has three parts: Wireless Protocol Component Library, Wireless Protocol Component Development and Test Platform (WPCDTP) and Embedded Operating System for Dynamic Load (EOSDL). Wireless protocol components are the base of the CBMPF. Thus the protocols or part of them on the mobile devices can be replaced by the protocol or components from the remote library in order to use wireless protocols more flexibly and more efficient. The experimental results show that our CBMPF works well for wireless protocols.
