Amalgamating RFID and wireless networks for clinical path management

The clinical path is the organization and sequencing of patient care interventions for a specified procedure. This paper introduces a holistic system, which amalgamates RFID and wireless networks for managing hospitalization process of patients. Re-engineering the treat paths for both surgery and delivery treatments are studied while implementing the RFID. The advantage and efficiency after the deployment of RFID are discussed.
