Abstract
Compared to traditional radiosonde and radar probing, the Global Navigation Satellite System radio occultation (GNSS RO) is a powerful tool for atmospheric sounding, which have many traits such as no calibration, all-weather, almost uniform global coverage, high precision and vertical resolution. In this paper, investigative actuality which we make use of GNSS RO technique get atmosphere parameters like temperature, air pressure and humidity is introduced. At the same time, development direction of GNSS RO in the weather domain is put forward, undoubtedly, it will boost up use of GNSS RO technique for global climate.
