Abstract :
When designing the portable pipe thread shaping machine, we adopt the non-shaft decelerator and the working mode including thread chaser rotating and pipe shaft feeding, which can machine nonlinear round pipe thread. We have also built the mathematical modeling of the optimized design for the decelerator and obtained the optimal parameters after finding its solution with optimal toolbox of Matlab. After optimized, the machine has the advantage of being light, compact-structured, and easy to move and work in narrow space.
