  • Abstract
    In order to solve the problems that the process of the evolution is only in one step and the investment in network is so costly when the network in nowadays evolutes to NGN(Next Generation Networking), this paper has get a deep research about the soft switch, media gateway control protocol, access gateway and media server and such kind of technology and then submit a kind of design methodology, through the core of the control system in soft switch, selecting the advantage of IP (Internet Protocol), ATM, IN(Internet), TDM and so on to form hierarchical, relying on the interworking between the different kinds of protocols to access the different types of terminal, fully utilizing the network source in hand, at the meanwhile, realizing the amalgamation of operation and to advance the QOS of network. The conclusion indicates that this design methodology made for the structure of network effectively, enrich the method of the operation mode and decrease the price of operation and management. This method can be used by the operation and management merchant to realize the transferation between the network and operation in a smoothly process.
