  • Abstract
    It is design that the users´ demand from the market has been changed all kinds of information for manufacturing by the creative thinking, planning, decision making of designers. At present, the market changes quickly, and competition is very violent. It is one key for winning the competition how to respond quickly to market changes and develop quickly the product with excellent performance, easy-to-use, amenity, comfort, easy-to-maintenance, high quality and low cost. However, the virtual prototype design methodology (VPDM) is becoming a subject of increasing importance. In this paper, the concept and the architecture of VPDM were put forward, the theory of VPDM was analyzed, the implement methodology was discussed.
