Abstract
In this paper we present a new method for solving multicriteria decision making problem in an interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy environment. Firstly, we introduce a score function and an accuracy function for ranking the order of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. Then, we obtain the criteria´s optimal weights via a linear programming model to rank the alternatives and select the best one(s) in accordance with the value of the weighting function. Finally, an illustrative example is given to show the validity and convenience of the method present in this paper.
