Abstract
The problem of stability of uncertain T-S fuzzy system has been studied, and the sufficient conditions, which maintain the stability of the system based on the descriptor representation, has been proved. Then, convert these conditions into LMIs (linear matrix inequalities). Our results reduce computation obviously compared with the previous one. For the more relaxed LMIs conditions, a new fuzzy controller design approach and fuzzy Lyapunov function are given. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the validity and feasibility of the proposed approach.
