  • Abstract
    We report 40 Gbit/s phase-erased demodulation for RZ-DPSK/CSRZ-DPSK signals by exploiting cascaded second-order nonlinearities in a periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) waveguide. All-optical 40 Gbit/s ODB/AMI-to-RZ format conversion is also demonstrated in the experiment.
