Abstract :
We report a high power/high energy dual-crystal Yb:KYW regenerative amplifier using a single chirped volume Bragg grating (CVBG) as stretcher/compressor with more than 12 W average power at repetition-rates >40 kHz and compressed pulsewidths around 500 fs.
