Abstract :
This paper presents an introduction to hybrid electric vehicles, the commonly used configurations of the driving chains, the comparisons among these configurations, and then finally the possible developments of hybrid electric vehicles in the near further. Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles are also included in the discussion.
