Abstract :
At the occasion of the 68th Gala of ACFAS (Francophone association for advancement of knowledge) the prestigious Urgel-Archambault Prize was awarded to Masoud Farzaneh, Professor at the Applied Sciences Department of the University of Qu??bec in Chicoutimi (UQAC). This event was marked by the presence of the Minister of Research, Science and Technology, Mr. Pierre Duchesne, as well as many dignitaries. The purpose of this prize is to recognize remarkable lifetime achievements in physics, mathematics, computer science, and engineering.
