Abstract :
Product conceptual design is a first and crucial phase in product innovation design. In order to improve the intelligence in product conceptual design process, the paper researched product conceptual design and itpsilas process, proposed a self-cognitive algorithm of knowledge discovery in database (KDD) and applied it in product conceptual design. The algorithm was based on rule based fuzzy cognitive map (RBFCM) and constructed to directional mine design process knowledge automatically in massive database.Therefore, the self-cognitive process greatly reduced the searching space and the complexity of the algorithm so as to enhance the automation degree of conceptual design and overcome the defects of expertise.
