Abstract :
Quantitative cost data is produced with the proceeding of project. Cost data, however, only has meaning when they are linked to some other external data e.g., time, asks, participants, etc. to provide the context for that information. Applying Data Mining technique to cost control can help managers improve their capability of cost analyzing, cost monitoring and cost warning. This paper introduced the frame of cost control system base on DM, and provided multi-dimension cost analysis by OLAP technique. Therefore, it can provide visual and reliable decision-making support for different cost control layers.
