The Analysis of Public Need to the Government Community Information

With the development of market economy and the urbanization advancement, the ´unit person´ transforms to the ´social person´, the importance of community informationization construction highlights unceasingly. This paper takes communities in Wuhan as an example, investigating the main public groups who need the GCI and the main information they need by empirical research methods. Finally it points out some problems on the service of the GCI and gives countermeasures guided by the results of the survey.
