Abstract
More and more real time applications apply RFID technology to identify, track and locate objects with RFID tags. Complex event processing is applied to resolve the problem of duplication and redundancy of RFID data stream which are caused by wide deployment of RFID readers, as well as transformation of complex events in BCEPS system. However, massive and disordered events which will be processed in BCEPS system will affect the real-time and responding time of BCEPS system. How to schedule events to be processed reasonably and efficiently is the critical point to guarantee real time and efficiency of BCEPS system. In this paper, we propose and design a real-time event scheduling model which is based on the priority of events for BCEPS system. A prototype of the proposed model is built and the scheduling of events in BCEPS system is shown and verified through experiments.
