A New Multicast Duplicating Method

In order to saving storage resource, a method of multicast duplicating based on ping pang switching mechanism is presented, switching the output role with the backup role of storage queue successively, guaranteeing the seamless switch of successive duplicate processes of the same packet, as well as the processes between two different successive packets, improving the efficiency of duplicating multicast and speed of outputting packet. Offering the same service performance, comparing with the method of packet round robin of multi-queues, the simulation proved the better feasibility of saving buffer resource.
