Enhancing performance of image watermarks using Contourlet Transform

In this paper a robust Contourlet based image watermarking technique for copyright protection is presented. The main idea is to utilize the decomposition performed by the Contourlet Transform in embedding a robust watermark into the host image and choosing the best locations for the embedding without causing visual degradation in the image. Experimental results show the superiority of the proposed technique in resisting various attacks.
