Energy losses: Aspects not considered and the use of probabilistic methods

The following paper proposes a simplified method for calculating energy losses on diverse distribution segments, highlighting important aspects not considered by other methodologies. Simulation studies have been performed to demonstrate the importance of these aspects and the adequacy of the proposed method. The method is applied to evaluate energy losses in low voltage system using a probabilistic model.
