Voltage optimization of a LV microgrid with DERs: Field test

The problem of optimal operation of distribution systems is winning interest, as exploitation of distributed energy resources (DERs) is spreading. New technologies and concepts for the operation of these networks are required in order to enable generators, storage units and loads working together in effective cooperation. This paper presents a voltage optimization procedure, a description of Supervision & Control System (SCS), and a comparison between theoretical analysis on the network model and results on the CESI RICERCA Test Facility.
