Impact of replacement of the Ferraris meters by electronic meters on the current errors of instrument transformers

The paper discusses the impact of errors of measuring current transformers on electricity metering caused by different operation conditions due to replacement of the induction meters, the so-called Ferraris meters, by electronic energy meters. Based on the performed statistical analyses and laboratory measurements, recommendations for optimal burden of measuring transformers are defined.
