  • Abstract
    This article describes a class designation and an accuracy calculation procedure for merging unit systems. The accuracy error calculations for each part have been performed using simulation models. Additionally, the requirements for the merging unit that come from the usage of the digital protocol according to IEC61850-9-2 are described. Scenarios for testing a real merging unit and experimental results are presented.
