The conduction of power quality disturbances between Distribution and Transmission Grids

This paper presents the results obtained with the first and second power quality monitoring systems, installed at the points of common coupling, between Distribution and Transmission Grids. The information managed by these systems is received monthly, as statistical reports, by the National Dispatch Center and is included in the reports sent to Romanian Electricity Regulatory Authority. The information gathered in these surveys helps to develop the Romanian Power Quality (PQ) regulation, to verify the contract requirements, to report the network performance indices and to identify the network optimization solutions, technical energy losses reduction and customer satisfaction.
