Abstract

Recently dual mode trailers (DMT) are significantly considered as novel technique for future transportation systems. These are aimed for particularly reducing complicated job process in the railroad based transportation and relevant logistic cost in economic viewpoint. In this paper we survey technical trend of DMT systems in domestic industry. We provide several DMT systems addressed until now and propose suitable framework of them to our nation.
