  • Abstract
Based on intelligent space technology, this paper discusses the problem of service robot navigation and positioning in large-scale dynamic environment. By using CCD cameras and a kind of artificial landmarks as space sensors, a novel intelligent space is constructed, and the service robot can obtain more comprehensive environmental information through the intelligent space, instead of being equipped with too mang sensors itself, and the robot can work more rapidly. First, the overall structure of the intelligent space is introduced, and then the navigation and positioning problem based on the intelligent space is discussed. Finally, the experimental results are given, and the result shows that the robot can achieves precise navigation and positioning by such way.
