Abstract :
Modern manufacturing industry demands manufacturing enterprises to increase their agility and robustness. This leads to more effective and efficient organization, management, planning and control of manufacturing resources in the manufacturing enterprises. Based on the precise data of quantity, technical performance, and capacity of manufacturing resources, manufacturing resources should be optimized and assigned according to dynamic manufacturing environment requirements. The physical models of manufacturing resources include the material elements model of manufacturing resources and the model of organizational structure of manufacturing resources. The organizational model is made up of static manufacturing resources and their status information. First, object-oriented method is adopted and UML is used to establish the manufacturing resource model. Then, all evaluation indices and corresponding hierarchical structure are established based on AHP. Finally, a manufacturing resource optimization and selection system is developed with Delphi 7. The system developed is tested by an instance.
