Abstract :
Resource management technology enables grid system to support on-demand resource achievement across multi organizations, which acquires great efforts in grid computing research field. Most current grid system can only serve one kind of workload for that resource management and workload management are tightly coupled, called system-centric resource management model, in which the resources utility for multi workloads is not much considered to have the problem of scarcity or waste of resources. We bring forward a multi-workloads sharing oriented resource management model for grids to have multi workloads built on one platform, in which multi workloads can utilize and share resources simultaneously and coordinately, so that the resource utility of whole grid system can be improved.
