Abstract :
In this paper new voltage- and current-mode universal frequency filter topologies employing single modified current-feedback operational amplifier (MCFOA) as active element and five passive elements are presented. The proposed filter structures enable realizing all standard filter functions (low-, band-, high-pass, band-stop, and all-pass filter responses). Moreover, the independent adjustment of the quality factor Q by varying the value of single passive element without effecting of the natural frequency omega0 is possible. All the passive and active sensitivities are low. In the PSPICE simulations the MCFOA using the real model of the UCC-N1B 0520 device are used to verify the theoretical conclusions of the proposed circuits.
