Abstract :
In cellular systems, the user terminals are suffered from the attenuation of the signal from the base station (BS) and the interferences from other users. This paper considers the improvement of this bad situation by BS cooperation (BSC) in the downlink scenario assuming multi-antenna schemes, and compares the effectiveness of several strategies based on a three cell model. The result shows the advantage of BSC, and the simple ZF (zero forcing) based approach has an advantage under the high SNR (signal to noise ration) scenario, while the circular iterative weight design proposed by authors shows the best performance in the low SNR region.
