Abstract
Oscillation excitation by an azimuthally modulated electrical current that flows in sphere equatorial plane is studied in isotropic spherical dielectric resonator placed into isotropic medium. It is shown this current excites E and H modes. If the frequency of ring current radiation coincides with the frequency of eigenmode, there is an amplitude resonance in the oscillating system.
