Abstract :
Theoretical analysis of auto-oscillations´ excitation mechanism in magnetrons with cold secondary-emission cathode is carried out. Auto-oscillations´ excitation by external modulation of anode voltage is studied. Conditions of specified mechanism implementation are defined. Comparison of numerical modeling results and experimental data, obtained for millimeter wavelength band magnetrons, is presented.
