Abstract :
Analytical estimation of optimal parameters of pulse magnetron of 8 mm-band with cool secondary-emission cathode operating under 6.5 kV anode voltage in the mode of drift-orbital resonance has been performed. Ability of the magnetron with analytically determined parameters to maintain the required energy characteristics is checked by the use of computational and 3D-simulation experiment. The possibility is shown to develop a functional magnetron with relatively low anode voltage and parameters that assure its wide range of application.
