Abstract :
A new type of high-power electronic device - gyroton on the basis of corrugated resonator is described. In this device spatial bunching of an electron beam does not occur; however, highly efficient conversion of power of an electron beam into power of a rotating electromagnetic field is possible. The electron beam entering the device is linear; due to its initial deviation from the axis by slowing of TM11 wave, it than returns its longitudinal energy to the same wave with the efficiency of more than 88%.
