  • Abstract
The innovative CAD system of evolutionary analog circuit design is described. The Darwin Solver realizes structural-parametrical synthesis of corrective and matching networks, microwave filters, multistage microwave amplifiers using evolutionary algorithm. It is also shown, that integration into Microwave Office allows designing of arbitrary circuit connected with evolutionary synthesized two-port sub-circuits. The proposed hybrid genetic algorithm is based on special mechanism, which decreases the topological convergence. We use both binary-coded and real-coded representations. The experiments showed that Darwin Solver was capable to find nearer-optimal solutions after 5...50 thousand circuit simulations, that was equal to few minutes on typical PC.
