Abstract :
The design of Ka-band MMIC filtering LNA for spatial system based on 0,1 mum GaAs mHEMT D01MH technology (OMMIC) is presented. The design of 3-stage Ka-band MMIC LNA for space communications is described. The use of matching networks (MNs) with filtering functions in LNA leads to improving of performances of spatial systems such as stability, noise, and receiver and transmitter channel insulation, simplifying filters, and reducing bulk and weight. MNs are designed with GENESYN, a CAD tool for automatic synthesis of networks based on genetic algorithm. MMIC LNA is implemented with 0,1 mum mHEMT GaAs D01MH technology (OMMIC, France). Within (27...31) GHz band it provides the 21 dB gain and 1.7 dB noise figure.
