Abstract
The modification of blind mixed noise variance evaluation method is proposed. It is based on using weighted LMS (WLMS) algorithm for regression line fitting in the scatterplot of local variance and squared mean estimation pairs. The accuracy improvement is shown by numerical simulations for artificial and real life RS images.
