Abstract :
This paper presents an electronically tunable microstrip open loop resonator for RF/microwave multifunctional systems. Tunability is achieved by using varactor diodes. Simulation results for a filter based on these resonators are demonstrated to have a passband shift of 26%. Experimental results are presented to validate the argument along with theoretical considerations.
