Abstract :
In the development of software reverse engineering, program understanding is one of the most important steps. With the brief introductions of several program slicing technologies and their advantages and disadvantages, a new standard, used to choose slicing criterion, is proposed in this paper. By comparison with other methods, the experiment shows that the program slicing which is calculated by this new standard could help software programmer improve the efficiency, shorten cycle and reduce the complexity in the aspect of program understanding.
