Abstract
In this paper, a new self-repairing control system (SRCS) is developed for nonlinearly-perturbed plants with stuck sensor failures. The SRCS can automatically replace the faulty sensor with the healthy one if the failure occurs. A detector satisfying the diverging condition is utilized to detect the failure exactly with use of no information about the plant. Thus, one can construct the SRCS of a simple structure. This paper also presents the detector of an unstable filter in order to shorten the detection period. In addition, a design of the high-gain feedback controller for the SRCS is shown. To confirm the effectiveness of the proposed SRCS, we explore several numerical simulations.
