Abstract :
Long term spectral characteristics of 0.9 mum radiation thermometers were studied by using a monochromator and also fixed point blackbodies. Some thermometers showed shifts in their center wavelengths. Normally the thermometers were stable within plusmn 0.2 nm per year. The trends of the two measurements were the same but they had a small difference in the absolute values. The spectral stability of the radiation thermometers can be monitored by the signal ratio between two fixed point blackbodies.
