Abstract
An adaptive consensus control framework for the rotational dynamics of multiple spacecraft is developed. Specifically, we assume that the mass moment of inertia of each spacecraft is unknown so that the largest principal axis is uncertain. Even though conservation of momentum does not hold in the adaptive case, attitude synchronization is attained after sufficiently long time has elapsed.
